Ayam Bali resipi Ms. Hart

Ayam Bali resipi Ms. Hart

hitam tapi sedap hokay!

Ingredients :

  • ½ kg chicken cut to manageable size
  • 2 tbsp blended dried chilli (more if you want it spicier)
  • 3 tbsp curry powder ( i used Faiza Raja Curry powder)
  • 4 shallots, 2 cloves garlic, an inch of ginger – blended
  • as much soya sauce as you like

* Mix all of the above ingredients and leave to marinate for at least ½ hour

  • 2 sprigs of curry leaves
  • 2  inch gallangal root – bruised
  • 1 lemongrass – bruised
  • red and green chillie – cut lengthwise (fried together with the gallangal and lemongrass until wilted then take out before you put in the chicken and put back in when you put in the tomatoes – hey it’s not my recipe… i just left it there)
  • 1 tomato – cut into wedges

Method :

  1. Heat your wok and oil, fry gallangal root and lemongrass, toss in the curry leaves as well
  2. Once you can smell the spices, pour in the marinated chicken
  3. If you want to have lots of gravy, pour in water
  4. Leave to cook for 30 minutes covered on medium heat (check constantly)
  5. After 30 minutes, toss in the tomatoes and cook uncovered until the gravy thickens a bit (don’t forget to seasoned to taste)
  6. Dish out, great with hot white rice or as you can see here, nasi lemak…~ nyuuummmm!
